Name: Brightsong

Description: A soft white she-cat with cream, almost pale gold, patches. One patch over her left eye, covering the upper portion of her face and her entire ear. A large splotch on her back that stretched to the mid point. Dips down on her shoulder and her stomach. Creamy, gold colored tail. Two stockings on her front paws. The one on her right foreleg stretches up halfway up her leg, starting from her toe tips. The one on her left leg starts just above her toes and reaches up to her belly. Long, thin tail. Tabby markings cover all the splotches, and give her a ringed tail. A tabby marking on her forehead, giving her the traditional tabby appearance. Gray colored nose, and bright, aqua blue eyes. Almost appear as robin egg blue.

Personality: shy and caring, this she-cat often tends to look after others subconsciously. She seems to have a strong maternal instinct, though often tries to hide it. A hopeless romantic, she also often day dreams about who her mate will be. Easily startled and scared, she tends to always be on edge. Has a quiet demeanor, and always tends to not talk. She would do anything to save the ones she loves, though this could end up as a flaw. She would put her friends before her Clan, which goes against the code. She doesn't notice this, and thinks of her way as right. She also is deathly afraid of heights, and likes ScorchClan for it's almost tree-less territory. Do to recent events, she also has a fear of tidal waves and flooding. (since it probably forced her up a tree.)

History: Born into ScorchClan, Brightkit was named for her soft pelt. It had glown brightly in the morning sun, leaving her parents to name her Brightkit, and her two sisters Softkit and Warmkit.
Brightkit was quickly pushed far behind by her sisters, but always favored by her parents. For this same reason, her sisters often picked on her and called her 'mama's girl' or 'daddy's girl.' This seemed to quiet Brightkit, who had been born as a bubbly little girl.
Soon they were apprenticed, and Brightpaw seemed to always be paired up with either Softpaw or Warmpaw. Always forced into training with them gave them extra time to beat down upon her, making her even more quiet. One particular time was when they chased her up a tree, and scratched at the bottom for hours, yowling up at Brightpaw. This gave her her fear of heights, which she will never get over.
After their moons of training, they were all named warriors. Softpaw had become Softstep, Warmpaw became Warmpelt, and Brightpaw was named Brightsong. Even as warriors, her sisters teased the she-cat. However, she had begun to hide from them, which became easier as their patrols became seldom with each other. Everything seemed to be at peace. Her parents had moved to the elder's den, and her sisters seemed to be growing away from her. Brightsong was finally happy in her life.
And then the flood hit.
Brightsong was washed away from her Clan, and up a tree. She was up there for hours, for she did not know how to swim. She still doesn't know how long it lasted until the water calmed, and slid away. She shakily climbed down, and began her long trek back to her Clan. She had not known where she was, nor where she was heading. But a copper colored star in the sky had seemed to show her the way...
When she had returned, she had found she was the only one of her family to survive. She held her own vigil for her parents especially, but even pitied her sisters.

- Drifcloud: She's quite a nice she-cat. Being our medicine cat and all, she does a good job. Her and Ivystep are really, really nice to me.

- Ivystep: Like Driftcloud, she's really nice. She comforted me as well...not sure what else to say about her. How embarrassing...!

- Hollowheart: He's a nice tom. I met him once. We didn't talk long, but again...he seems...nice.

- Shadowthorn: I...I love him...! He's my mate an the only one who actually understands me...along with me understanding him. We make each other. Without him...I would be lost. I think he would be lost without me as well...

- Blindstar: She...she played a cruel joke on me and forced me out of the Clan. I almost died. I still respect her as a leader...but as a person...she is somewhat awful.

- Copperwing: He attacked Shadowthorn! Sure...Shadowthorn MAY have provoked a fight but...he...he hurt him and...ugh...he even insulted him. I will never forgive this cat. Ever.
